About Us
A stopover with old-world charm
Meerkat Compound is situated within walking distance of the centre of Kakamas. We offer nine fully equipped self-catering cottages for groups of two to five people, with a combined capacity of 27 guests.
We create green Meerkat footsteps with gas stoves, and energy saving geysers and cooling systems. The antique furniture lends an Old World charm. You can enjoy a meal in our dining room, watch DStv in your cottage or have a braai and just relax.
Be sure not to miss us, right across the well known Pienk Padstal on the N14 as you enter Kakamas from Upington. “Well priced and very nice”.
